  • Vitra Polypropylene Chair

The Panton Chair is a classic in the history of furniture. Designed by Verner Panton in 1960, the chair was developed for series production in collaboration with Vitra (1967). It was the first plastic chair molded in one piece. Since its marketing, it has gone through several stages of production. It has only been possible to produce it, according to its original design, since 1999 - in durable, through-dyed plastic material with a matte finish. The cantilever structure combined with a form adapted to the body and the soft material give the chair great seating comfort. It can be used alone or in a group, indoors or outdoors. The Panton Chair has won numerous international design awards, and is now part of the permanent collections of famous museums. Its expressive form has made it one of the design icons of the 20th century.

    Materials:   dyed polypropylene. Matte finish.

    Suitable for outdoor use.

Note: special additives slow down discoloration due to ultraviolet radiation.  However, the color may change if the seat is exposed to the sun for a long time. We recommend limited sun exposure.
