LC2 Armchair
Leather Upholstered Armchair: Timeless, unique and deeply authentic, the LC2 armchair has played a role in the history of furniture design, becoming a worldwide icon. Created to encourage conversation, this armchair was exhibited at the Paris Salon d'Automne in 1929, as an archetype of modern furniture design, nicknamed "domestic equipment" by its creators. The balance between form and function derives from an in-depth study of the posture of the human body and the use of Modulor, a system based on the typical measurements of the male body and on a mathematical language inspired by the proportions of the universal harmony. Structure in chrome, upholstery in leather and cushions upholstered in polyester.
