LC4 Lounge chair
Designed in 1928 and made famous from 1965 by Cassina, the chaise longue, with continuous adjustment, is the archetype of the chaise longue, called by the authors: “The Resting Machine”. This design icon exemplifies the perfect match between form and function. The shape of the swing hugs the human body for complete rest. The stability of the swing – for any angle of inclination – is ensured by the friction of the arc of a circle with rubber rollers which wrap the transverse bars of the base. Infinitely adjustable chaise-longue, structure in polished trivalent chrome-plated (CR3) steel. Base in black lacquered steel. Headrest padding in polyester wadding.
